2011 Campout (July 4 - July 8 2011)

If you plan to attend, please register as soon as possible. We need this information to tell us how many children to expect and provide adequate class materials for the students.

General Information for 2011

The time is fast approaching for the 28th Annual Midwest Bible Campout and we do hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be another edifying and enjoyable meeting in beautiful southern Missouri!
  • The dropping off of campers and leaving will not be allowed.
  • Campsites will be by reservations through Discovery Ministries confirmed by deposit.
  • All deposits are nonrefundable.
  • All campers must check in at office before parking campers. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact Discovery Ministries if arriving after 5 p.m.
  • No reservations are needed for primitive camping. Tent campers may only reserve 20 amp non-sewer sites.
  • Multiple units on one spot will still be permitted, but use of electricity will be limited to unit that has the reservation. At this time, this rule only applies to 20 amp sites. If the 30 amp sites begin getting overloaded it will have to apply to them as well.
  • If you do not arrive on the first reserved day, your deposit is forfeited and the site becomes available to the waiting list.
  • If an emergency comes up that prevents your on-time arrival, please contact the Discovery Ministries office before your first arrival date to work out a solution for your reservation.

Reservations will be made by calling Discovery Ministries using the following schedule. Please call 866-307-1947 or 573-226-3213.
  • Arriving on or before 6/27 call 4/1/11
  • Arriving on 6/28 call 4/5/11
  • Arriving on 6/29 call 4/7/11
  • Arriving on 6/30 call 4/11/11
  • Arriving on 7/1 call 4/13/11
  • Arriving on 7/2 or later call 4/15/11
  • Tents arriving any time for 20 amp call 4/18/11

Eldership Expectations for Guests

  1. IT IS OUR GOAL FOR ALL GUESTS TO CONDUCT AND ATTIRE THEMSELVES IN A CHRIST-LIKE MANNER DURING THE MEETING.
  2. GUESTS UNDER 18 WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION DURING THE MEETING. FOR THOSE ATTENDING WITHOUT A PARENT, A FORM MUST BE TURNED IN STATING WHO THE RESPONSIBLE ADULT IS. AS A REMINDER, ALL CAMPERS UNDER 18 MUST CAMP IN THE SAME AREA AS THEIR ADULT SUPERVISION.
